i just woke up 3min ago to find out that i'm 26 minutes late for my first tutorial of the sem. wonder how this bodes for the rest of the tuts of the sem. plus going for a makeup lesson means that CONFIRM i'll need to skip another lesson. seems like the more i try, the more shit i get into

plus i've decided that my new obsession, the luscious snickers ice cream bar can no longer be consumed cos i'm now back to being the size of a whale (and the colour of a bleached one too). at last count, within 2weeks, the bf and i have consumed AT LEAST 25 sticks EACH in 2 weeks, ie. 2 a day, (his is the mars bars ice cream tho... but same diff lah) which comes up to $100 in this 2 weeks which honestly is a ridiculous amt to be spending on ice creams alone. and the calories... oh lordy, i'm too afraid to even calculate that.

on the point of random points,
3) zouk on fri rocks more than zouk on wed (other than mambo on wed which still will forever rocking my stockings).
4) utt looks WAYYYY better on the assorted medias than in real life. got to compare this first hand when i saw him right beside me at holland v mag stand admiring folio magazine which featured (surprise, surprise!) him on the cover. its damn true when they say tv makes you look bigger than you really are. in this case, it apparently gives you better skin and makes you taller too.
5) 27 dresses is such an inspiring show. i wanna be a bridesmaid too!
6) the xlbs at crystal jade are getting smaller, esp after their revamped menu a few mths ago. back then, they had to be eaten in more than a single bite, but now, they fit nicely into your mouth in a single bite. which means either they got smaller or my mouth got bigger. i'd like to believe the latter of course.
7) i need to start bringing my cam out more so you people wld actually be able to see what i'm talking bout.

i've been wanting to blog abt my exciting life but somehow everytime i put the activities of the day down on the blog, i decide it sounds too boring so i'll just stop blogging- thus explaining my very boring blog.
.
so here i am, blogging about the most exciting thing in my life now: my very bruised leg :(the bruises aren't very clear here, but they hurt like hell considering they're directly on my shin. plus at last count, there are at least 4 separate bruises with one being repeatedly bruised at least thrice.
.
class 2b is turning out alot harder than it looks.
you'd think that it shld be fairly simple considering crappily paid jobs like mcds delivery ppl and your friendly neighbourhood newspaper man all can ride so well,
but noooooooooo.
not only is the bike fucking heavy (hello more bruises), all the clutch and brake works etcetc aren't exactly the easiest thing to master considering i have the hand-eye coordination skills of an underdeveloped ape.
add that to the fact that i panic when the cars in the circuit hog the road at a speed slower than my grandmas hobbling- more than once i've been tempted to ram my bike into the car (tho that honestly not a wise thing to do considering the car will prob just have a dent whereas i'll be the one paralysed/dead).
plus i think i'll be one of those crazy drivers on the road- stalling the bike in the middle of the road and screaming expletives to myself. more than once, i had more than a few instructors giving me weird glances cos i think i swore and thonked my helmet on the bike abit too loudly.

i'm guessing by the time i actually manage to pass 2b, i won't have the money left to buy the bike.

ANOTHER BORING UPDATE

3 days into the sem and i'm actually starting on readings.
wheeee.

i blame it all on the writers strike.
aiyah hollywood, just give in to the writers union already. heaven knows how much you all are earning from us tv addicts in the world (tho admittedly, being a frequent downloader of shows, i'm in no position to say i'm actually contributing to this sum. but i digress.)
i gotta wait till APRIL till bones starts airing again, and god knows when the rest of the shows like csi and greys is gonna continue.
its like fucking forcing a smoker to go cold turkey AGAINST HIS WILL.
ah well, i guess this is a good time to start catching up on all the shows that i've missed so far. currently watching prison break season2, gonna move on to supernatural and after that, the biggie: SEX AND THE CITY SEASON 1-6. just so i'm in tune to the SATC movie out in june. damn kiasu i know.
been watching countless numbers of movies over the past month cos of my shortage of tv- across the universe, in the valley of elah, sunshine, the kingdom, michael clayton, american gangster, stardust, se7en, zodiac, little miss sunshine, lions for lambs, i am legend, juno, one missed call (which may i add is a totally nonsense show) just to name a few.

LANGKAWI

stayed at langkawi holiday villa which was swarming with fat russians, fat germans and fat mongolian tourists.

being lazy singaporeans, we spent close to 5hours everyday in our room, awake and watching cable. watched lotsa mtv, the movie alien, some documentary abt genius children etcetc. and of course taking many random photos..
we were beyond bored. esp at nite where there was no nightlife. well not w the parents arnd anyway. .

so we went to see some mountain
(surprising how langkawi is so much smaller than singapore, and yet can still have mountains- not hills, but MOUNTAINS higher than our lame bukit timah)

the most happening thing that we did at langkawi tho, was the nonstop eating and beer (OMG ALCOHOL!).
we ate at least 4 meals a day (and at most, i had at least 2 dishes... either their serving very small, or i'm just piggy), coupled with beer.
shiok. lucky my father likes to drink :).

FIRST HALF OF 2007 RESOLUTIONS

1) get my 2B license.
2) buy a bike. preferably auto but ungay looking.
3) decide on a part-time job. its a tossup btw blah tuition and doorbitching at zouk.
4) learn diving.
5) save money for grad trip (wherever that may be)
6) GRADUATE FROM NUS
(which might not actually happen cos i managed to screw up my bidding so i'm still short of 2 modules. urgh.)

ok so that was abit too much info but seriously, in 2 days, i had 2 random people staring at my bits- the gynae (who also managed to cop a feel of my insides), and my wax therapist (on a totally random note, yes it hurt crazily but at least i'm fuzzless. that plus i'm finally seeing long-lost parts of myself that disappeared when i hit 11.)

its 4.44am and i'm still waiting for my laundry to dry, cos if not i'd have to wear paper undies to langkawi which is just disturbing.
and i bought a really cute bikini, pics which i will def post aft my trip (where i will be gloriously tanned. no more bleached whale!)

PLUS, i got my hair coloured again.
got slightly distressed when my brothers started saying that my hair looked like dried seaweed.
other than the fact that it cost close to $300 (despite the almost 30% discount), i think my hair rocks, and my fringe no longer looks as retarded so yay again :)
sigh, but i do miss the good ol days of hair shows and free hair services. $300 is seriously exorbitant.

speaking of exorbitant, i've just calculated that the bf and i have a combined expenditure of $800++ today. inclusive of the damn fucking nice exclusive black adidas windbreaker that we got at 30% of as well and my new bikini. can't decide if it was a superb day cos so many things were discounted, or crap cos we spent so much (like $60 on cabbing).

and we went for our first bike prac today!
seeing how it went, i doubt i'll be able to even pass tho since i can't even hold the bike steady cos of how heavy it is. either i need to start working out my biceps and forearms, or the bikes at bbdc need to get lighter.
and i can't stop properly cos i can't coordinate the unthrottling, hand break, foot break and releasing the clutch. if i use the footbreak, i'll fall cos my left leg alone isn't enough to support the weight of the whole bike. which ALSO means i gotta go work out my leg muscles too.
arghhhhhhhh.
i think i'll just be a pillion the rest of my life. that or a road hazard :(

HAPPY 2008 :))

so i spent the first 7hours of 2008 playing diabloII.
think i managed to get the bf hooked as well so at least i won't be scolded when i start paying more attention to d2 than to him heh.

ushered in the 2007 rather pleasantly (other than the fact that the bf was 1min late in picking me up from holland v which meant i ALMOST spent it alone at the holland v coffeeshop.. thank god i bumped into zixiang, chewaikkah and co so my 1min into the new yr wasn't as miserable as it cld have been :))
after that went over to sarah's place along w sascha, drank and watched random movies on hbo.
as boring as that sounded, it was a conscious decision on both our parts since neither of us cld be bothered to squeeze w the crowds.
so thank god sarah, for being my boring best fren and making it feel like it's perfectly fine to be nua-ing arnd doing absolutely nth on new yr :D

2007 was alrite actually, def better than 2006.
unfortch, i nv managed to really find a balance in life- it was either the love life or the academic life that was off or screwy at any one point of time.
so my resolution for 2008 is,
TO BE PERFECT :)
although that sounded like my 2007 resolution, i believe my perseverance will pay off one day.
